Hello!
What a big surprise to meet wikings with their boat at the shore of Øynes while walking our dogs. This is just what my friend and I use to talk about, who has been walking here in the old times---? May bee wikings, because old tools and weapons has been found in the soil! It is a perfect place to take a rest!! All the best to you
from the two ladies and the dogs.

Hello again. What a lovely suprise in the Glasshusset in Bodø to see two handsome young vikings, and so like vikings in all their gear. I so enjoyed meeting you both and hearing about your adventures of sailing/rowing down the coast of Norway to Bergan and ending up in my country after you have visited Shetlands. Two very courageous and daring young men from Switzerland. Sailng and rowing small Nordlandsboat just 20 foot long. I shall follow you on the internet and pray for your safe journey . In the meantime I shall try and help you both here.Shall get in touch with some of my friends in Rognan and see if they can help you in one way or other. I suddenly thought of something, do yhou have special bad weather cloths, for rain and wind, they are used by fishermen etc at sea. They are a "must"
Do you have a list of requirements, let me know and we can go out into the newspaper and see if anyone can help. Hope that all went well after your playing outside the church yesterday and that the people paid you ad promised. Keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will be very good in the next weeks.Keep in touch and I shall go in on your email everyday. Take care of yourselves. Today I am at homme just catch up on my email etc and dull housework. Tomorrow I am back in the Glasshouse. Shall travel to Oslo on saturday to run /walk in the womens race,4.5km. Also stand outside the Parliment in Oslo and deliver out information about Bodø. Home again next sunday to continue my work. Bye for now. From Shirley with love.

Hi, Swiss Vikings!
I was pleased and astonished to meet you last Saturday, April 26th '03, in Rognan and to hear about your enthsiastic and interesting project. It fasinated me also because of the fact that I grew up in Rognan and went to Switzerland in 1968, where I among other things also have learned to sail on the lake of Zurich - quite a harmless thing in comparance with your journey from Norway to Bretagne. I will frequently visit your homepage in order to keep well informed. Good luck to you both and look forward to maybe seeing you again, when the Norlands boat perhaps even has reached Lausanne.

Hello Monsieur Julien,
A bientôt !
