Bodø-fleinvaer,17 nautical miles
back wind, nice weather and open sea,
we arrived in the island and have some rest, after a running week before the leaving. François stears for one and a half hour.
Fleinvaer-Støtt-Bolga, 28nm
Rowing and sailing for a long day, stop in Støtt just for buying a little bit of food and go for some more hours to bolga
Bolga-Storseløy, 20nm, 10h of navigation
very little back wind, hard to keep the 2 kt, we shift every two hours for stearing
good idea to sleep on the boards under the cover, very good night.
Storseløy-Sleneset, 17nm, 7h. of nav.
stong wind against us,, waves and we had to take a ris(short the sail)after a few unuseless turns, the wind ´s gone and we row.
the clouds turns to fog.
we got two sea charts for the tomorrow´s navigation
Sleneset-vandve,16nm, 7h. of nav.
two first miles rowing, then little South wind for a few other miles, then nothing at all when a very dense fog came. We stear with our ears, eyes,(and the help of our GPS) between recifes and stones, at the end we sail a little bit.
slept in a old empty house, invited by the owners.
Vandve-Brønøysund, 45 nm, 13h. of nav.
sunny day and good wind from the North-East for our distance record, good speed, 5 kt, with some times at 6, nearly all the day. we rowed for 2 hours when the wind disapears, and ended with some South- east wind to the quiet harbour.
François stears for 2 hours.
Luckily Fenrir as a little need of water, cause while sailing 5 kt we passed a place with only 50cm. of water witch was not signaled by a pole...
