last day sailing...

18.09.2003

That's it, the End...

After being back from the market, we sailed on a very stormy sea, to Newcastle, in a deep fog and with big waves, then the harbour was full of water, good luck for us in an harbour who dries out totally!
The wind seems to have definitivly change to south west and strong...
We hitchiked our way back to Ardglass, to find a place to winter Fenrir.
Back again to Newcastle and in a strong wind and a few rowing hours, we sailed back the 15 miles to Ardglass...
no more danngerous sailing day for this year, exept for tomorrow, we'll film Fenrir from a motor boat, to complete a bit our shootings.
Fenrir would be safe ashore on saturday, and we wash, oil and dry her 21 feet before covering near a farm.
She gots a few offers for the next year, like expos and historical market, and for us, the shipless crew, hitchiking to the Dublin's museums, and more south to catch a boat to Brittany.
And then, there in the mist, i'll see My mountains( and friends and familly, and Swiss cheese fondue, and else...)
A very big thanks to every one of you for the big support that we have found in those pages, we 'll had lot more pictures as soon as possible...
